A social problems versus social responsibility?
Social problems is the impact or the reflection of economic status of a country, whether the country is developed, underdeveloped or developing, whatever may the economic system and government structure, social problem comes ahead and it surrounds the whole society. However it is left over the discretion of the residents that how tactfully, diplomatically, technically, administratively and rationally a concrete and an optimal decision is taken. And a productive methodology is adopted to cope over the social problems. Here social responsibility denotes towards residents of a country, govt is not involved into it. So the inhabitants should form a committee, responsibility should be assigned followed with analytical view and pragmatic steps which becomes the mandatory call of the day to resolve the issue in hand.
Therefore It becomes a collective efforts for every one who is living in a given society to sense the impending issues and sort out the problem amicably. It will be a mega task for every one to understand the problems such as utility issue, educational facility, drainage issue, sports and recreation, health, infrastructure, safety and security measures, clean water and better housing facility, transportation, shopping malls. restaurants and hotels. community center, social gathering spots are the things which always needs a revamp which is only possible through collective efforts to handle.
Reply:Social Problems are individual vices. If someone has a problem with drinking, sex, drugs etc. It effects people all across America. But Social Responsibilty comes about from problems so large that the affect America. Its all about effect, versus affect. Effects, Problems cause reactions. Affect, the far reaching consquences of the reactions. Responsibility may also spring from morality. We take on problems that dont have far reaching implications simply because its the right to do. That's where the agruements over wellfare reform comes to play. We have wellfare to help people because its the right thing to do, but that right thing is placing a lot of stress on our economy, and now if they were to stop the program it would have far reaching implications.
