my social security card was stollen. and then i lost my wallet. it had my current state id in it. i can't get the social security card w/o my id and i can't get my id w/o my social security card. so, all i have now is my, birth certificate. what can i take to the social security office beside the birth ceritficate to prove who i am to them? i called and get an automatiated response and can't get a hold of a person. i live in austin tx. any help would be aappreciated!

Your birth certificate, provided you have the original notarized copy, should be fine.
