Who had social anxiety?

If anyone had social anxiety and now they overcome it and confident, please tell me how you overcame it

Step by step on what you did to overcome this social anxiety, please help me and tell me

Did you had social anxiety because you was afraid of people judging you? did you had social anxiety because you was afraid of talking to yourself outloud and people thinking your crazy?

How did you stop talking to yourself outloud? How did you became social and confident? please tell me

I went to three therapist and counselors, they didn't help me at all, I still have social anxiety

Who had social anxiety?
I have social anxiety too. But I need to live, so I force myself. I have never overcome it. You just have to make yourself do things. Like sink or swim. You have no choice.
Reply:I have it too. I am working on it all the time.

You are asking how to overcome it; it can be done, but it won't last forever.

There is nothing you can do that will make you wake up one day and not have it.

If you don't consistently work on it, or it will get you. You have to do something every day to fight it.

I know it sounds like alot, but it's like what the other guy said, you have no choice.

I'm sorry but I don't have a step by step plan. But for about a year now I have been the confident "real me" .

There are many "tricks" out there. The absolute best thing that worked for me was getting out of myself and helping other people. Go to a soup kitchen, or volunteer some way- you will be forced to get out of your head, and talk to people, and do something good for someone. You may not be a good conversationalist, but your actions speak louder.

More great "tricks" are at www.socialanxietysupport.com. There is a great forum there where you can talk to people about it, however, I recommend not talking about it after awhile when you start to feel better...
Reply:i was making some progress

now I mostly don't like people anymore

they lie, tell half truths, steal your women, say lies about you, etc.
Reply:I take an antidepressent. I have anxiety/depression, so naturally the social stuff was a problem too. When the medicine "kicked in", I became less anxious. One time, before meds, I'd have panic attacks. In the bank, driving, in stores. I'd have been more relaxed sitting in a closet with a blanket up over my head! I hated family functions, well still don't go "whoopee" over em. But I can converse and feel much more at ease. I 'll never be spokesperson at a toastmaster's convention, but life is more relaxed and calm.
Reply:I have it and I fight it everyday. I used to not have it but it slowly developed. I know I can fight it though
